 Greetings from the Symbala World of Lahrinda Eileen
The Symbala path I follow (a name I coined to describe my mandala art style) has been continually evolving since the moment of vision which began it all in September of 1993. One thing, however, has not changed. Even before I was shown this path I had a strong desire to be of service in a healing, empowering way which honored each person's uniqueness. Years of frustration and searching ended in that moment of seeing how to express that uniqueness with a non-verbal, geometric beauty.
Symbalas reflect the cosmic dance of rainbow energies, which is what we are. Each so rare and so beautiful! Seeing ourselves in this way - free from critical evaluation, comparison and judgment - is a great healing gift.
I offer two kinds of Symbalas: those that are commissioned by and attuned to individuals for their personal growth, relationship or business and those which are channeled through me for anyone’s use and made available as prints and cards.
Before I began teaching myself how to use the tools (computer, professional drawing program) that would take me on this journey, I already had a background in science (not art) and a fascination with the philosophy of number and the geometry of the Golden Mean. As the work unfolded, I realized the Symbalas reflected my fusion of science and spirit. What the Symbalas literally do is communicate the wave-geometry of self-awareness. They guide us to redefine who and what we are with the voice of symmetry, beauty and vibrational oneness.
The artist’s path has become the loom upon which I weave the threads of my intention, interests, abilities and spiritual evolution. Following my passion brings many gifts: the joy of constant discovery, personal healing, sharing the healing possibilities with others and the continually expanding awareness of being one with the universal creative flow.
